summer 2018
so spring semester of school ended up being pretty rough for multiple reasons. last summer i had a job in another state, but it made me tired and i missed my mom, so because we recently moved and for health reasons, i decided to spend this summer at home. it was a slow summer for sure, and i spent most days reading or writing, but honestly, it was just what i needed. i definitely missed home.

stopped to see one of my best friends from college on the way back to school and did this!
one of my best friends from home came up and we went shopping (except it was super stormy and we had chosen an outdoor shopping area, so we were stuck inside a restaurant for a good part of the time)

i went back to my hometown for a bit and my best friend and i went to the hill where we always used to like to go in high school. the sunsets there are always gorgeous.

a lil plant shop where i like to window shop (because i can never afford their plants)
my friend and i went for coffee at a place we hadn’t tried before
finally saw hamilton with my friend! we used to perform together at our vocal recitals in high school and sang a lot of musical theater together, so it was perfect that she came with <3
