Had a long weekend off from school so went to see my love, who lives in England. Do I recommend a trip across the ocean done in four days? No. But I missed him and this was all the time I had, so I went. (It was well worth it.)
This is Bath in the fall. I’m convinced, with a million other people, that it is the most beautiful city in the world and I am extremely jealous of those who live here.
It was quite rainy all weekend, but I didn’t mind, because it was cozy and beautiful and atmospheric. Gotta love a good drizzly car ride with some alt-j playing in the background. I believe this was taken on the way to a garden shop that was decked out with Christmas decorations. When I say decked out, I mean it — there were sections and singing reindeer. I subsequently spent the rest of the weekend believing it was December.
A sweet boy prepares to eat so much food. This was possibly the most gratifying meal I’ve ever had. You can’t see him well in this photo, but the boy sitting behind him looked exactly like Timothée Chalamet.
Okay, I know everyone photographs these, but this is still probably my favorite thing ever. Plants. All of them.
My love, waiting for an uber so we can go scouting for dinner. Food is probably my favorite activity when I am with him, and so most our time is planned around that. I think he thinks I’m letting myself go, but you should enjoy the little things in life.
This was our second coffeeshop of the day — I forced us to duck inside when the rain got a little too cold and heavy. He had some latte/caramel/sugar contraption and I had a hot coco with vegan whipped cream. It was delightful.
